Welcome to the WLC web site!
This organization was designed to bring together
a group of friends for a luncheon feast on a weekly basis. All members work in the downtown Louisville area, and engage
in good eats and mediocre conversation every Wednesday at approximately 11:45 a.m. Please feel free to proceed through
this site, and enlighten your life with a morsel of the WLC fellowship......

From your editor:
We bore witness to the departure of one of our oldest members recently. Connie Haxby embodied all that is good and just
about our organization and her presence will be missed. She joined our ranks in the spring of 2003 and quickly won favor with
even the most curmudgeonly of members. A bright girl with a zeal for planning, she quickly rose within the ranks of the WLC
and became the Keeper of the List and Prime Minister of Webmastery. She was instrumental in keeping the members informed and
promoting an environment where feasting and talking (though not at the same time) became the hallmark of the WLC. As a united
congregation, we say to Connie "Good luck", but never "Good-bye". [to be followed by 21 gun salute when possible]
